The all-new Ignis was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020 with an SUV like design, along with updates inside out. Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Ignis compact urban SUV in the month of February after unveiled Auto Expo, at a starting price of Rs 4.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ignis’ pricing goes up to Rs 7.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Ignis will be available in two different colour options that are Lucent Orange and Turquoise Blue. Also, there will be three new dual-tone colour options for the car.

BS-6 Maruti Suzuki Ignis – Exterior:
In terms of design, the Maruti Ignis facelift gets squared chrome inserts on the grille which appears to be borrowed from the S-Presso. It also features redesigned bumpers with faux scuff plates at the rear and the front along with a blacked-out B-pillars and ORVMs with integrated indicators. The design of the Ignis facelift is not vastly different from the model it replaces, especially when viewed from the side.

On the inside, the general design of the dashboard remains unchanged, though the 7.0-inch touchscreen has been upgraded with Maruti’s latest SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, which comes with voice command recognition and on-board navigation. The new Ignis can also be optioned with the S-Connect connectivity suite.
