Luxury car maker BMW these days is launching a series of models under the Jahre Edition to celebrate 50 years of its M performance division car. The company has already launched the 5 Series 50M Jahre and the M4 Competition Coupe 50 Jahre M Edition. Now it has launched a new X7 40i M Sport Jahre M Edition. Its special thing is that it has received many cosmetic updates compared to the standard X7 model.
The new 2022 BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.20 crore. This is the fifth Jahre Edition BMW car in India and marks the 50th anniversary of the performance-oriented M division of the German carmaker. The bookings for the BMW X7 50 Jahre M Edition have now started and can be booked online on the company’s official website.

There has been no change in the powertrain of the BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition. It is powered by the same 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the standard model. This engine is capable of generating 340hp of power and 450Nm of peak torque. The transmission is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The X7 Jahere Edition can accelerate from 0-100kph in 6.1 seconds and gets Sport and Sport Plus modes.

It gets 21-inch black alloy wheels with gloss black kidney grille and gloss black finish brake calipers in place of chrome as updates. Apart from this, it has also been given the company’s signature BMW front fascia. The headlights get blue X-shaped material along with DRL and BMW Laser Light technology.
