Piaggio India and Vespa has lunched the new BS6 compliant SXL 150 in India. Vespa SXL 150 is the old-school retro design premium scooter from the Vespa lineup. Piaggio India has updated its portfolio by launching the facelift versions of the SXL 150 of their respective predecessors, but from the looks of it, the changes are minimal. The new BS6 scooter gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine. The scooter gets the retro looking curved metal body panels with very charming visual appeal across the bodywork with rectangular shape LED headlamp with DRLs and rectangular shape chrome rear view mirrors. The new scooter gets the mechanical changes new BS6 standard emission engine with electronic fuel injection system and 3 catalytic converters that engine provide the better performance and fuel efficiency. BS6 Vespa SXL 150 come with semi-digital instrument cluster, petal design alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and single channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). The new scooter gets the single piece comfortable seat with USB charging port and a boot light in the under seat storage compartment. BS6 Vespa SXL 150 continues to be available in six attractive colors options and two variants including the standard BS6 version and facelift BS6 version in India.

BS6 Vespa SXL 150 is powered by the all-new 149.5cc, 4-stroke, 3-valves, air-cooled, single-cylinder, BS6 engine with electronic fuel injection system that produces 10.32 Hp of power at 7600 rpm and 10.60 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to automatic CVT transmission. The new engine gets a BS6 standard emission engine with electronic fuel injection system and 3 catalytic converters that improve the overall performance and fuel efficiency. The suspension duties managed by aircraft derived single side arm with ant-dive characteristics at the front and dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The Braking duties handled by 220 mm ventilated disc brake at the front and 142 mm drum brake at rear with single channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
